Identity of applicants for protection visas not to be published by the ART act-s501K — as in force on 2026-06-04 — C2026C00232 · Compilation No. 171 — https://www.legislation.gov.au/C2026C00232/latest/text 501K Identity of applicants for protection visas not to be published by the ART (1) This section applies to a review by the ART if the review relates to a person in the person’s capacity as: (a) a person who applied for a protection visa; or (b) a person who applied for a protection-related bridging visa; or (c) a person whose protection visa has been cancelled; or (d) a person whose protection-related bridging visa has been cancelled. (2) The ART must not publish (in electronic form or otherwise), in relation to the review, any information which may identify: (a) the person; or (b) any relative or other dependant of the person. Note: Section 5G may be relevant for determining relationships for the purposes of this subsection. (3) In this section: application for a protection-related bridging visa means an application for a bridging visa, where the applicant for the bridging visa is, or has been, an applicant for a protection visa. protection-related bridging visa means a bridging visa granted as a result of an application for a protection-related bridging visa.
