Migration Regulations 1994 CLASSES OF PERSONS (SUBSUBPARAGRAPH 1218(2)(a)(i)(B)) I, CHRIS BOWEN, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under subsubparagraph 1218(2)(a)(i)(B) of Schedule 1 to the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’): • REVOKE Instrument number IMMI 07/052, signed on 30 July 2007, specifying classes of persons for the purposes of subsubparagraph 1218(2)(a)(i)(B) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations; 2.                   SPECIFY as a class of persons for the purposes of subsubparagraph 1218(2)(a)(i)(B) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations, each person holding the kind of passport specified in column 2 of the Schedule to this Instrument, subject to satisfying the conditions, if any, in column 3 of the Schedule for passports of that kind, where that person is outside Australia and lodges an application on the internet for a Tourist (Class TR) visa for the duration of three months or less; AND 3.                   SPECIFY as a class of persons for the purposes of subsubparagraph 1218(2)(a)(i)(B) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations, each person applying for a Tourist (Class TR) visa who is a registered Arafura Games participant. For the purposes of this Instrument:   “Arafura Games” means the sporting event hosted and managed by the Northern Territory Government scheduled to be held from 7 to 14 May 2011. “Registered Arafura Games participant” means any person entering Australia for the purpose of participating in the 2011 Arafura Games who has registered their details with the Arafura Games organisers and has been accepted as an athlete or support person.
