Commonwealth of Australia Migration Regulations 1994 CREDENTIALLED COMMUNITY LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS (SUBITEMS 6C91(a) and (b)) I, CHRIS BOWEN, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under subitems 6C91(a) and (b) of Part 6C.9 of Schedule 6C to the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’): 1. SPECIFY for the purposes of subitem 6C91(a) the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) as a credentialled community language body; and 2. SPECIFY the standard for the purposes of subitem 6C91(b) as accreditation at the paraprofessional interpreter or translator level or above. This Instrument number IMMI 11/038, commences on 1 July 2011, immediately after the commencement of Migration Amendment Regulations 2011 (No. 3).
