For amended instruments the current compilation may differ; confirm against the official source._ Commonwealth of Australia Migration Regulations 1994 SPECIFICATION OF OCCUPATIONS AND ASSESSING AUTHORITIES (Paragraph 187.234(b)) I, CHRIS BOWEN, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under paragraph 187.234(b) of Schedule 2 to the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’): 1. SPECIFY the occupations and assessing authorities listed in Schedule 1 to this instrument for the purpose of paragraph 187.234(b) of Schedule 2 to the Regulations. This Instrument, IMMI 12/061, commences on 1 July 2012, immediately after the commencement of Migration Amendment Regulation 2012 (No.2) Dated 12 June 2012 CHRIS BOWEN Minister for Immigration and Citizenship [NOTE: Paragraph 187.234(b) of Schedule 2 to the Regulations provides that, at the time of application for a Subclass 187 visa, if (i) the applicant’s occupation is specified by the Minister in               an instrument in writing for that subparagraph; and (ii) the applicant did not obtain the necessary qualification in Australia; the applicant’s skills had been assessed as
