DETERMINATION OF PROTECTION (CLASS XA) AND REFUGEE HUMANITARIAN (CLASS XB) VISAS 2014 (Section 39A) I, the Honourable SCOTT MORRISON, Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, acting under Section 39A of the Migration Act 1958 (the Act): • DETERMINE for the purposes of section 39A of the Act, the minimum combined total number of Protection (Class XA) and Refugee and Humanitarian (Class XB) visas that the Minister must take all reasonably practicable measures to ensure are granted in a specified financial year is as follows: • for the financial year starting 1 July 2015 – 13,750 Class XA and Class XB visas; b.        for the financial year starting 1 July 2016 – 13,750 Class XA and Class XB visas; c.         for the financial year starting 1 July 2017 – 16,250 Class XA and Class XB visas; d.        for the financial year starting 1 July 2018 – 18,750 Class XA and Class XB visas.
