Part 1 – Preliminary
1  Name
This instrument is the Migration (IMMI 17/119: Places and Currencies for Paying of Fees) Instrument 2017.  
This instrument may be cited as IMMI 17/119.
2  Commencement
This instrument commences on 1 January 2018.
3  Authority
This instrument is made under paragraphs 5.36(1)(a) and 5.36(1)(b) of Part 5 of the Migration Regulations 1994 (the Regulations).
4  Definitions
In this instrument:
Regulations means the Migration Regulations 1994.
5  Schedules
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Part 2 – Places and Currencies
6  Places and Currencies for Paying of Fees
For paragraphs 5.36(1)(a) and 5.36(1)(b) of the Regulations, the following table specifies:
(a)  A place where a payment of a fee (other than a visa application charge to which subregulation 5.36(3A) of the Regulations applies) must be made (Column A); and
(b)  A currency to be used (Column B).where making a payment of a fee (other than a visa application charge to which subregulation 5.36(3A) of the Regulations applies) in the relevant place listed in Column A.
