Part 1 – Preliminary
1  Name
This instrument is the Migration (IMMI 17/118: Payment of Visa Application Charges and Fees in Foreign Currencies) Instrument 2017.
This instrument may be cited as IMMI 17/118.
2  Commencement
 This instrument commences on 1 January 2018.
3  Authority
 This instrument is made under paragraph 5.36(1A)(a) of Part 5 of the Regulations.
4  Definitions
 In this instrument:
Regulations means the Migration Regulations 1994.
5  Schedules
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

6  Payment of Visa Application Charges and Fees in Foreign Currencies
For paragraph 5.36(1A)(a) of  Part 5 of the Regulations, the following table specifies:
(a)  the currency name (Column A);
(b)  the corresponding International Standards Organisation Code (ISO Code) (Column B); and
(c)  the corresponding Exchange Rate for the currency (Column C).
