Part 2 - Credentialled Community Language Qualifications 6  National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters For the purposes of paragraph 6D91(a) of the Regulations, NAATI is specified as a credentialled community language body. 7  Standard for Interpreting or Translating •            The specified standard for interpreting or translating for the purposes of paragraph 6D91(b), is any one of the following issued by NAATI: •            accreditation at the paraprofessional level or above; •            certification at the certified provisional level or above; or •            a community language credential. Part 3 —Transitional provisions 8  Application of this instrument This instrument applies to any applicant who has not received a credentialled community language qualification issued by NAATI prior to the commencement of this instrument. Previous qualifications by NAATI at the specified standard will be recognised as a credentialled community language qualification.
