Part 1 – Preliminary
1  Name
•            This instrument is the Migration (LIN 19/042: Places and Currencies for Payment of Fees) Instrument 2019. 
•            This instrument may be cited as LIN 19/042.

2  Commencement
This instrument commences 1 July 2019.
3  Authority
This instrument is made under paragraphs 5.36(1)(a) and (b) of the Regulations.
4  Definitions
In this instrument:
Regulations means the Migration Regulations 1994.
VAC means Visa Application Charge.
5  Schedules
The instrument specified in Schedule 1 is repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule has effect according to its terms.

Part 2 – Places and Currencies
6  Places and Currencies for Payment of Fees
Each row of the table in Schedule 1 specifies:
•       in column A - a place in which payment of a fee, other than a VAC mentioned in subregulation 5.36(3A) of the Regulations, may be made for the purposes of paragraph 5.36(1)(a) of the Regulations; and
•       in column B - the currency in which the fee, if paid in the corresponding place, is to be paid for the purposes of paragraph 5.36(1)(b) of the Regulations.
