Dated 13 November 2019 Michael Willard Acting Senior Executive Service Band Two, Immigration and Community Protection Policy Division and Delegate of the Minister for Immigration, Citizenship, Migrant Services and Multicultural Affairs Contents 1  Name 2  Commencement 3  Authority 4  Schedules Schedule 1—Amendments Migration (LIN 19/186: Arrangements for Applications for Bridging Visas) Instrument 2019 1  Name  (1) This instrument is the Migration (LIN 19/296: Arrangements for Applications for Bridging Visas) Amendment Instrument 2019.  (2) This instrument may be cited as LIN 19/296. 2  Commencement The whole of this instrument commences at the same time as Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 to the Migration Amendment (New Skilled Regional Visas) Regulations 2019 commence. 3  Authority This instrument is made under subregulation 2.07(5) of the Regulations. 4  Schedules The instrument specified in Schedule 1 to this instrument is amended as set out in the applicable items in that Schedule. Schedule 1—Amendments Migration (LIN 19/186: Arrangements for Applications for Bridging Visas) Instrument 2019 1  Paragraph 6(2)(a) Repeal the paragraph, substitute:  (a) form 482D, 482V or 494V is the approved form if:  (i) an applicant has been authorised by the Department to apply for a substantive visa; and  (ii) the application for that substantive visa is made using approved form 482D, 482V or 494V; or 2  Subsection 6(3) Repeal the subsection, substitute:  (3) In addition, for a Bridging C (Class WC) visa, form 482D, 482V or 494V is the approved form if:  (a) an applicant has been authorised by the Department to apply for a substantive visa; and  (b) the application for that substantive visa is made using approved form 482D, 482V or 494V. 3  Schedule 1 (table item 1, column 2) After “157G”, insert “491D”. 4  Schedule 1 (table item 1, column 3) After “482V (Internet)”, insert “494V (Internet)”. 5  Schedule 1 (table item 3, column 2) After “157G”, insert “491D”. 6  Schedule 1 (table item 3, column 3) After “482V (Internet)”, insert “494V (Internet)”.
