Period of approval of nomination—Subclass 407 (Training) visa reg-2.75A — as in force on 2026-06-01 — F2026C00497 · Compilation No. 287 — https://www.legislation.gov.au/F2026C00497/latest/text 2.75A Period of approval of nomination—Subclass 407 (Training) visa (1) This regulation applies to a nomination, under paragraph 140GB(1)(b) of the Act, of a program of occupational training in relation to a holder of, or an applicant or proposed applicant for, a Subclass 407 (Training) visa. (2) An approval of a nomination ceases on the earliest of: (a) the day on which Immigration receives notification, in writing, of the withdrawal of the nomination by the approved work sponsor; and (b) 12 months after the day on which the nomination is approved; and (c) 3 months after the day on which the person’s approval as the kind of sponsor that could make the nomination ceases; and (d) if the person’s approval as the kind of sponsor that could make the nomination is cancelled under subsection 140M(1) of the Act—the day on which the person’s approval is cancelled; and (f) the day on which the applicant, or the proposed applicant, who is identified in relation to the nominated program, is granted a visa on the basis of that nomination.
