2.60Z When a person meets the partner requirements A person (the partner) who is the spouse or de facto partner of an applicant for approval as a family sponsor in relation to the parent sponsor class meets the partner requirements if:

(a) the partner is not a parent sponsor; and

(b) in the case where the partner has previously been a parent sponsor—either:

(i) the partner has not failed to satisfy a sponsorship obligation under Subdivision 2.19.2 (which deals with the sponsorship obligations of approved family sponsors etc.); or

(ii) it is reasonable to disregard any such failure.
