Section 268CW — Announcement before entry

268CW Announcement before entry An authorised officer executing a monitoring warrant must, before entering premises under the warrant:

(a) announce that he or she is authorised to enter the premises; and

(b) give a person on the premises (if there is one) an opportunity to allow entry to the premises.
