Migration Act 1958 - Specification - Pass Marks And Pool Marks In Relation To Applications For General Skilled Migration Visas (Classes VE, VC, VF and VB) - IMMI 11/027

PASS MARKS AND POOL MARKS IN RELATION TO APPLICATIONS FOR GENERAL SKILLED MIGRATION VISAS (CLASSES VE, VC, VF AND VB)

(SUBSECTIONS 96(1) AND 96(2))

I, CHRIS BOWEN, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under subsections 96(1) and 96(2) of the Migration Act 1958 (‘the Act’), hereby:

1. REVOKE Instrument Number IMMI 07/056 signed on 28 August 2007, specifying pass marks and pool marks in relation to applications for GSM skilled visas for the purposes of subsections 96(1) and 96(2) of the Migration Act 1958 (‘the Act’); AND,

2.                   SPECIFY that, for the purposes of regulation 2.26AA of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’), the pass and pool marks that appear in Part 1 of the Schedule to this Instrument apply; AND,

3. SPECIFY that, for the purposes of regulation 2.26AB of the Regulations, the pool and pass marks that appear in Part 2 of the Schedule to the Instrument apply.

This Instrument number, IMMI 11/027, commences on 1 July 2011, immediately after the commencement of the Migration Amendment Regulations 2011 (No.3).
