VISA APPLICATION CHARGE EXEMPTION FOR FULBRIGHT SCHOLARS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

(ITEM 1208)

I, CHRIS BOWEN, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under Item 1208 of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’) hereby SPECIFY for the purposes of sub-subparagraph 1208(2)(a)(ia) of the Regulations, Fulbright Scholars of the United States of America.

This instrument, IMMI 11/074 commences on 1 January 2012.

[NOTE 1: Sub-subparagraph 1208(2)(a)(i)(ia) provides that an applicant who is seeking to satisfy the criteria for the grant of a subclass 406 (Government Agreement) visa and is an applicant of a kind specified by the Minister in an instrument is writing is exempt from paying a Visa Application Charge.]
