VISITOR VISA APPLICATIONS FROM CITIZENS OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA

(Subclause 600.251(2))

I, BRENDAN O’CONNOR, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under subclause 600.251(2) of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’):

  1. REVOKE Instrument Number IMMI 06/002 specifying areas in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) for the purposes of paragraph 676.214(a) of the Regulations signed on 24 February 2006; AND

2.             SPECIFY the areas in the Schedule to this Instrument as areas of the PRC for the purposes of subclause 600.251(2) of the Regulations.

This Instrument, IMMI 13/008, commences on 23 March 2013, immediately following the commencement of Migration Amendment Regulation 2013 (No. 1).
