PAYMENT OF VISA APPLICATION CHARGES AND FEES IN
FOREIGN CURRENCIES

(Conversion Instrument)

(Paragraph 5.36(1a)(a))

I, STEPHEN SHEEHAN, Delegate of the Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, acting under paragraph 5.36(1A)(a) of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’):

  1. REVOKE Instrument number IMMI 13/045 signed on 28 June 2013, specifying an amount in foreign currency which corresponds to the amount payable for a fee in Australian dollars for the purposes of paragraph 5.36(1A)(a) of the Regulations; AND

2.                   SPECIFY in the Schedule to this Instrument foreign currencies in which the amount is to be paid, in Column A by currency name and in Column B its International Standards Organisation code, for the purposes of paragraph 5.36(1A)(a) of the Regulations; AND

3.                   SPECIFY in Column C of the Schedule to this Instrument the exchange rate for each currency for the purposes of paragraph 5.36(1A)(a) of the Regulations.

This Instrument, IMMI 13/126, commences on 1 January 2014.
