(Subparagraph 3.01(3)(c)(ii))

I, PETER DUTTON, Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, acting under subparagraph 3.01(3)(c)(ii) of the Migration Regulations 1994 (the Regulations) SPECIFY that, for:

1. a person departing Australia; and
2. the departure referred to in paragraph 1, the person has been processed through the SmartGate ABP system, which is an authorised system under section 495A of the Migration Act 1958 (the Act);

the person may deposit their completed passenger card, as defined at regulation 1.03 of the Regulations and referred to in section 506 of the Act, in a designated drop box located after the  Departures SmartGate.

This Instrument, IMMI 15/102 commences on 1 July 2015.
