Migration (Credit Card Surcharge) Instrument (LIN 24/024) 2024

I, Andrew Giles, Minister for Immigration, Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs, under paragraph 5.41A(1)(b) of the Migration Regulation 1994 (the Regulations):

(a) repeal the instrument Migration Regulations 1994 - Types of Fees or Charges (IMMI 14/053) (F2014L00895); and

(b) specify the following kinds of fees or charges for the purposes of paragraph 5.41A(1)(b) of the Regulations:

(i) nomination fees or charges;

(ii) sponsorship fees or charges;

(iii) visa application fees or charges;

(iv) visa evidence fees or charges;

(v) visa pre-application process fees or charges.

This instrument commences on the day after the instrument is registered.
